Comparison of sorption properties towards toxic metal ions of organomineral composites based on vermiculite with in situ immobilized and adsorbed poly [8-oxyquinoline methacrylate]

The purpose of the work is synthesis new organomineral composites by in situ immobilization and adsorption poly[8-methacroyloxy-quinoline] on surface vermiculite study sorption properties cations Cu(II), Pb(II) Fe(III). In poly [8-oxyquinolinemethacrylate] was carried out initiated radical polymerization 8 oxyquinoline methacrylate using 2,2′-azobisisobutyronitrile (AIBN) as a dinitrile initiator presence vermiculite. To obtain composite poly[8-oxyquinolinemethacrylate] vermiculite, polymer synthesized advance, then dissolved tetrahydrofuran adsorbed fact confirmed comparative analysis IR spectra source mineral relative composites. regularities thermal decomposition immobilized were studied thermogravimetric combined with mass spectrometry. Using results low-temperature adsorption-desorption nitrogen scanning electron microscopy, changes morphology after selected methods are shown. characteristics respect to Fe(III) ions examined static mode. groups showed activity against those metal which 8-oxyquinoline forms stable complexes, capacity Cu(II) doubled [8-oxyquinoline methacrylate] increases almost 3 times this polymer. For Pb(ІІ) effect lower: [8-methacroyloxy-quinoline] one-third result, increasing insignificant within experimental accuracy.
